Went to a new pilates class at one of the other gym outlets. Being Labour Day and a public holiday, it closed at 4pm… but I didn’t know that until I got there just before 7.30pm. Now I’ve made the trip, though, it will be easier next time. Have decided I also like the later evening timeslot. Allows you to cycle home if you like, too. Will try the straight after work one as well in the next week or two, and see what I think of this. Being at the gym today (well, outside it) made me very excited at the prospect of visiting the Aromatherapy Steam Room. It seems a very Sunday evening beauty therapy thing to do. Would like to get one of those wraparound towels to wear in there so I feel super-comfortable.
The 30 mins daily walking recommended in a couple of articles posted yesterday would be easily covered by 30 min cycle to work each day, or walking to work (at least 1.25 hrs). Fitting into daily routine makes it a lot easier. Just get up 30 mins earlier/ bed 30 mins earlier.
